Dr. Kennedy Blevins
Dr. Kennedy Blevins trained as a health psychologist understanding how culture relates to the biopsychosocial model of disease. She is interested in role of mindfulness and self-compassion as tools for improving holistic health, especially for those who have limited access to integrative health modalities.
As an emerging health coach, she is focused on using motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques with compassion and mindful awareness to help individuals reach their holistic health goals.
Dr. Blevins is a lifelong poet, and often blends themes of science and spirituality to showcase the complexities of the human condition.
Kennedy completed her PhD in Psychological Science and her MA in Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. She received her BA in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
